Marcanti College, a part of the Esprit School Group in Amsterdam, faced a challenge. The secondary school, a vmbo-havo, works with the innovative rubrics system. However, the administrative work that the rubrics method brought with it was immense. Each student had an Excel file with an average of 25 tabs. With about 20 to 25 students per class, the administrative work was overwhelming for the teachers. They spent a lot of time maintaining the rubrics.
To streamline this process, the school collaborated with Digital Development Teams to translate the Excel files into a user-friendly web app. This solution transformed the cumbersome Excel files into an efficient, digital student tracking system that provides insight and allows Marcanti College to produce clear reports. The impact was significant, reducing teachers’ workload and improving usability.
